– Mondays in Macintyres start
off very much family-based, but we don't mean we have the Teletubbies
on the Big Screen or nappy-changing at the bar. We try our hardest to
bring the best football coverage for our punters and our programmes will
be showing the best action from every league possible. If it's on live,
we'll be showing it!
Macintyres boasts about fifty of the best football managers in the world giving their total commitment to team selection and all the tactics of our modern game – Alex Ferguson, Martin O'Neill and Jose Mourinho wouldn't be able to lace their managers jackets. Forget about Gordon Strachan, if George Burley wants to step aside any time soon we've got a pub full of clued-up candidates who could do a better job of running the national team. Sadly at this stage we have no qualified referees at the pub, or at least none who know what they're talking about. We hear the SFA want to put them straight into action to officiate the next Old Firm game! |

We're not just into football at Macintyres though because we believe to give our customers the best pub experience possible we have to give them the best sports experience possible, so we've subscribed to all the major networks showing all the major sports. Whether it's football, golf, rugby or cricket you're into, Macintyres will try its hardest to accommodate your love for your favourite sport, because your passion is our passion. Macintyres prides itself in having the most up-to-date music blaring out of our sound system every week. We believe we have the most comprehensive selection of hits for our members to listen to after they've travelled far and wide to get here. All the top artists are in the Macintyres jukebox so our regulars will know they're bopping along to the hottest tracks doing the rounds. We even believe DJ Dave has a copy of a Cheeky Girls CD in his music box, so there's something for everyone. We also have all the music channels available on Sky so our male customers can dribble into their pints while Britney Spears dances in her pants and the female members can enjoy watching Robbie Williams strut his stuff so they don't feel left out. If he's still cool, that is. |

| Promotions – It always seems Monday is the day we launch our new drinks, surprising considering most of our members will still be sobering up from the weekend! I think they call that the hair of the dog. We're always looking to come up with new ideas and attractive drinks to surprise our customers with, so come along and give us your views so we don't have any nasty surprises come the weekend. We're always looking to bring in new drinks and promotions, so look out for our tasting evenings because these always turn out to be special nights. |
